Connectors featuring a two stud bayonet-coupling mechanism, which is particularly useful for frequently coupled and uncoupled RF connections with frequencies up to 4 GHz.

MBX connectors are especially developed for board-to-board and board-to-module RF interconnections. The mechanical design is outstanding, allowing the MBX to cope with mechanical misalignment in radial and axial directions and still hold an excellent electrical performance. MBX is best in class with its axial float of ±1.2 mm.

MBX completes the board-to-board assortment of HUBER+SUHNER with its development based on the well-known board-to-board connector MMBX. MBX fulfils higher requirements especially for axial misalignment (±1.2 mm).

The Phoenix D-Subminiature Combination Connector integrates coaxial, high power, high voltage and signal contacts into a single D-Subminiature housing.

Over 27 standard housing variations are available and all connectors are manufactured in accordance with Mil-C-24308 specifications. High voltage, coaxial and power contacts are offered from 40 VDC to 32 GHz in straight, right angle, cable or printed circuit board configurations. Grounding, shielding, filtering and non-magnetic requirements can be accommodated when a higher level of performance is desired. Fastening hardware and alignment systems are also available. The combination is ideal for cellular, wireless, high resolution graphics and medical imaging applications.

The dust caps are manufactured from either stainless steel or aluminium and dependent on the material chosen, selected finishes include olive drab chromate, black anodised or passivated.
