Clearlite TruePhase Fibres 1310

TruePhase 1310 fibres operate at 1310 nm, maintain linear polarization, and come in standard and reduced buffer sizes.

The Sensor version is designed with a smaller mode field diameter to allow for improved bend performance, a critical fibre parameter in sensor applications where fibre is wound on small-diameter coils. This design also offers a shorter beat length for increased birefringence and better crosstalk over longer lengths.

Fibre performance is optimized for the 1400-1490 nm band so that Raman pumps can provide high, steady output power over this wavelength range.

TruePhase 14XX fibres are made in two buffer sizes specifically for use in Raman Gain Modules, a key component of ultra long haul and 40 Gb/s systems.

Clearlite TruePhase Fibres 1550

TruePhase 1550 fibres designed to operate at 1550 nm, maintain linear polarization, and are available in standard and reduced buffer sizes. These fibres are made specifically for use with premium photonic devices such as phase-sensitive Lithium Niobate Modulators. Used as a source laser pigtail, TruePhase 1550 fibres preserve the coherence of emitted laser light. The 250 buffer size is recommended for PMD compensators, which use longer lengths of fibre.
